Seoul AI Festa

Professor Yoon, Research Professor Seyun, and M.S. candidates Minwoo & Juneyoung joined Seoul AI Festa. As the discussion chair, Professor Yoon led the AI Discussion Forum with Professor Carlo Ratti (MIT Senseable City Lab), Professor Song Chong (Dean of KAIST Graduate School of AI), and President Mangi Kim (Seoul AI Foundation).

Professor Yoonjin Yoon was appointed as the KAIST Endowed Chair Professor (석좌교수) by KAIST as of March 1st! KAIST selects and appoints as Endowed Chair Professor among full-time faculty members, or associate professors in their 40's who greatly contributed to the development of school as a result of their excellent educational, research and contribution service.

Research Professor Seyun, Ph.D. candidate Donghyun and M.S. candidate Minwoo presented their work "Integrating Urban Air Mobility with Highway Infrastructure: A Strategic Approach for Vertiport Location Selection in the Seoul Metropolitan Area" at the "104th Transportation Research Board Annual Meetings (TRB)".

K-DS Hackathon

Ph.D. candidates Donghyun & Sungmin and M.S. candidates Juneyoung & Seungro participated in the K-DS Hackathon and won the NRF (National Research Foundation of Korea) President Award. Their project topic was on utilizing satellite and aerial images to infer carbon emission and absorption.
